Rangoon Creeper is a woody climber admired for its fragrant, tubular flowers that change colour as they age. The blossoms typically open white, turn pink, and deepen to red, creating a multicoloured display on a single cluster. Its glossy, oval leaves form a dense green backdrop, making the flowers stand out vividly.
Blooming mainly in the warmer months, the plant attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. In Nepal, Rangoon Creeper is commonly found in gardens, forest edges, and settlements up to elevations of 1,500 metres, adding both ecological value and ornamental beauty to the landscape.
