Location: Chukhung, Khumbu

Red-billed Chough is found in high mountains, with elevation ranging from up to 5490m during summer and down to 2135m during winter. As the name suggests this species from the crow family has a distinctive red-curved bill. The body is velvet-black and the legs are red as well.
