The Yellow-footed Green Pigeon is a widespread resident bird in Nepal, commonly found at elevations ranging from 75m to 250m.
This species is easily recognized by its vibrant green plumage, which blends seamlessly with the foliage, and its distinct yellow feet, which give the bird its name. The pigeon has a soft, grayish head, an orange-yellow neck, and a contrasting bright yellow patch on the wings.
Often seen perched in groups on fruiting trees, it feeds primarily on figs and other fruits.
