Common Name: Little Cormorant

Location: Chitwan, Nepal

Found in elevation of 250m around lakes, rivers, these Little Cormorants are short in size with a thick neck and a short bill. The non-breeding adults have a whitish chin with a brownish body. These birds feed on fish by swimming underwater. Little Cormorants are residents and also winter visitors and passage migrants.
