Common Name: White-rumped Munia
Scientific Name: Lonchura striata 
Nepali Name: Setodhade Munia ( सेतोढाडे मुनियाँ )
Size: 10-11 cm
Location: Ichangu, Nepal

Often seen in groups, feeding mainly on seeds and found foraging around fields, wooded areas, shrubs, these White-rumped Munia are residents below 1220m and a summer visitor up to 2135m. Sporting a stubby grey bill, brown head, neck and upper regions, the rump is white in color.
