Common Name: Streaked-throated Woodpecker

Nepali Name: Katle Kaatfor ( कत्ले काठफोर )

Location: Chitwan National Park, Nepal

Streaked-throated woodpeckers are found in mixed forests, secondary growth below 465m. The males have a red crown. They have a white supercilium, dark bill, streaked throat on whitish underbody, green above with yellowish rump.  The female have a black crown and crest.
