Found in elevation ranging from 2300m to 3700m above sea level and is indigenous to the Himalayas. Also known as Wallich Spurge, it is found in forest floors, alpine meadows, and slopes. Flowers start blooming from May till August and the flower head is yellow in a cluster and each with 3-4 rounded yellow bracts. The leaves are green and around 10cm long with white mid-rib.
