The Tree Dahlia is a towering perennial that journeyed from its Central American origins to Nepal, where it is grown as an ornamental plant. Rising up to 10 meters tall with bamboo-like hollow stems, it thrives at elevations of 1,200 to 2,400 meters.
Blooming in late autumn, when many other flowers have faded, its blossoms stand out with yellow centers and soft petals in shades of pink, lavender, or white, bringing a sudden burst of color to hillsides and gardens alike.
