Common Name: Blue Marsh Hawk
Scientific Name: Orthetrum glaucum
Size: 10-14cm (wingspan)
Location: Sitapaila, Kathmandu, Nepal

Dragonflies are certainly beautiful creatures and Nepal has a lot of dragonfly species. I was able to take this picture of the  Blue Marsh Hawk Dragonfly in Sitapaila which now is slowly turning into an urban area from a farmland. These dragonflies have a nice blue color abdomen color with a black Cerci.
