Common Name: Himalayan Vulture

Size: 115-125 cm 
Location: Dharapani, Manang

Found above 900 m  to 4000m; these Himalayan Vultures are widespread residents in the Himalayas. With huge wingspans, this quite certainly can be the largest bird found in the Himalayas. The underside is pale brown along with the under-wing coverts. Flight feathers and tails are dark in tone.
