Irrawaddy squirrel is also known as the Hoary-bellied Himalayan squirrel and is found up to 1500m above sea level.
Falling under the species of rodent in the family Sciuridae, these squirrels are brown in color with pale grey or white belly. It has a long tail which is as long as its body length. Irrawaddy squirrel is found in mixed forest and near the human habitat.
