From mountain biking race to wilderness first aid training instructor, January defiantly wasn’t the month to relax and take things slow. But who can complain when the place you are traveling is the beautiful outdoors. As usual, I was able to see a lot of flora and fauna which I’m happy to share in this monthly segment.
Saw and took pictures of Great Barbet, Orange-bellied Leafbird (male & female), Black Bulbul, Babblers, Sunbird, spotted dove, Blue-fronted Redstart, Steppe Eagle, Flycatchers, etc. This time I really missed a proper shot of the Steppe Eagle, Red-billed Blue Magpie, Minivets, Lesser Coucal, Bhusure (Leucosceptrum canum), The Persian Lilac fruits, etc.
What a way to start the year. I am slowly making plans for traveling to a couple of places this year just to take pictures of flora and fauna so hopefully, I can make it happen and share the adventure with you guys.
Thank you for all your support.

Great start to the new year! We got 2 new dogs at the beginning of the month so getting the wildlife shots with them barreling through the underbrush has been tough this month. Although I do have to give one credit for spooking a burrowing owl that I would never have seen otherwise.

wow, another dog… I can imagine going for wildlife photography and the dogs taking over the stalking part. Hoping to see more info and wildlife picture on your blog.
