Native to Brazil and Mexico, Scarlet sage is commonly grown as an ornamental flower around gardens, parks, etc. These Scarlet sage normally grows up to 1.5 m. The tubular-shaped flowers are around 35mm long and red in color. The leaves are dark to medium green, with a length of 2.5 cm – 8 cm, elliptical and , margin toothed.
