Common Name: Black-throated Tit

Location: Rara, Mugu

Found primarily in between 1400 to 27000 m, these birds are recognized by the chestnut color crown, white-bordered black throat, black band through the eyes, and grey mantle. Juveniles have a pale crown, white throat, and indistinct black-spotted breast band.

These birds can be found in shrubberies, birch/coniferous forests in high altitude with nests in low bushes.
