Common Name: Carpenter Bee
Size: 7cm (wingspan)
Location: Palpa, Nepal

These bees are large and normally stay in a tree trunk. Saw this in Palpa while going around for some macro photoshoots. The reason for the name carpenter bee is because these bees generally live in wooden structures like dead trees and bamboo.
