Red-spot Jezebel are found from elevation ranging from 80m above sea level to 2100m. These beautiful medium-sized butterflies of the family Pieridae can be spotted in open country and around flowers.
The male (above picture, right) has a bright yellow-and-red markings on the underside and the female has a dull yellow color. The upper side of the male is white whereas the female is grey brown. (above, female on the left)
