Blue-bearded Bee-eaters are found in elevation ranging from 150m to 365m around forest edges and clearings.
The adult Blue-bearded Bee-eater has a blue forehead, elongated blue feather “beard”. It had green upperparts and buffy yellow below the breast streaked green. The tail is broad square-ended and has yellowish-buff undertail-coverts and undertail.
During the flight, we can see the yellowish-buff underwing-coverts.
