The Green Duke is a brush-footed butterfly with striking wing colors. The female’s upper wings shine emerald green with ivory-white spots, while the male’s are more olive-brown with paler markings.

Each forewing shows a diagonal band of pale spots, including two distinct spots near the tip, and each hindwing has a row of lighter spots along its scalloped outer edge. In bright sunlight, the green wings can glint with a subtle rainbow sheen. These green and white patterns make the Green Duke recognizable in its habitat and a memorable sight for any nature lover.
