A graceful fish-eating raptor, the Osprey is found from the lowlands up to about 915 meters.

Its striking plumage makes it easy to identify, a mostly white head marked with a bold dark stripe through the eyes, contrasting with a deep, glossy brown back. The breast is white, often lightly streaked, while the underparts remain pure white.
